Signal free route from Noida to AIIMS, getting rid of traffic jam due to construction of Ashram flyover

The new six-lane bridge near Ashram flyover was opened for light vehicles on Monday. With its opening, the journey from Noida to AIIMS has become signal free. From AIIMS to South Extension Bridge, Moolchand Underpass, Lajpat Nagar Bridge, Ashram and then from the new flyover directly to DND, people will reach Noida without stopping at any signals.

During the inauguration, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that people faced a lot of trouble during the construction of the Ashram flyover, but when a good work is done, one has to suffer a little. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to the people. There are still some minor tasks left.

While going from the ashram, the way down towards Sarai Kale Khan suddenly comes. Two-wheeler riders are facing problems due to heavy dust on the flyover. The remaining work will be completed soon.

The total length of the Ashram flyover is 1425 metres. The most important thing is that the entire flyover is of six lanes, so it is expected that there will be no problem of jam. There is a three lane ramp from South Delhi to Sarai Kale Khan. At the same time, three lane ramps have also been made to go from ITO and Sarai Kale Khan to South Delhi. For pedestrians, a subway has been built at the signal at Maharani Bagh.

The second part of the Ashram flyover has been opened for public from today. Three signals will end here. Now you will be able to travel signal free between AIIMS and Noida and get rid of jam.
