Kejriwal surprised by HC’s decision, fined for seeking PM Modi’s degree; told why you wanted it

The court on Friday imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. CM Kejriwal had asked for the degree of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While fining Kejriwal, the court told the Prime Minister’s Office that there is no need to make PM Modi’s degree public. Along with this, Kejriwal also told why he had asked for PM Modi’s degree.

AAP’s biggest leader Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘The whole country is shocked by this decision of the court. It is not a crime and a sin for anyone to be illiterate. There is a lot of poverty among us. There are many people who are unable to study even if they want to. I asked for this information because our country has completed 75 years of independence. The people of the country want progress. In such a situation, it is very important for the PM of the country to be educated. But we see that every second-third day such statements come from PM Modi which distracts the country.

Delhi CM Kejriwal further said, listening to the statements of PM Modi, there is doubt and the question arises whether the Prime Minister of our country is educated? And how many are educated? Why is it necessary for the Prime Minister to be educated? PM has to take hundreds of decisions in a day. If the PM is not educated, then the officers coax him to sign.

In fact, on Friday, the Gujarat High Court imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Arvind Kejriwal. In 2016, the Central Information Commission (CIC) ordered Gujarat University to release PM Modi’s degree. Thereafter, Gujarat University filed a petition in the High Court challenging this order. CIC had issued this order only at the behest of CM Kejriwal. Now the court has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on CM Kejriwal in this case.
