Dhoni looked troubled due to a left knee injury during the practice session and now it seems to be the reason for his being ruled out of the first match.
Chennai Super Kings does not want to take any risk regarding the fitness of the captain and due to this he can miss the first match. According to media reports, MS Dhoni is not feeling fully fit right now and he is very cautious about it. Due to this injury, he also decided not to participate in the training session on Thursday.

In the absence of Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings will also have to struggle for the wicketkeeper.
