BANGALORE RURAL: The supply of milk powder to Anganwadis in the districts of Kalyan Karnataka, which suffers from the highest number of malnourished children in the state, has been stopped.

The production of milk in the districts of Kalyan Karnataka, including Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgiri, Koppal, has declined and the production of milk powder has stopped. Minister of Women and Child Development, Halappa Achar said that the issue of non-supply of milk powder to Anganwadis has come to our attention and has already been discussed with the concerned officials. He said that the unions who gave the pretext of decline in production have also been instructed to report the problem in written form and the department officials have been given guidance to find a solution to this problem as soon as possible.
