UP Police Bharti: Big update on UP Police Constable, SI recruitment, now OTR will have to be filled.

UP Police Constable, SI Bharti 2023: A big update has come regarding the recruitment for various posts in UP Police including Constable, SI, Jail Warder. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will now implement OTR i.e. One Time Registration System in UP Police Recruitment also like Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) and Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). Any candidate who wants to apply for various upcoming recruitments including UP Police Constable, Sub Inspector or Jail Warder must fill the OTR first. UP Police Recruitment Board has issued tender regarding OTR before recruitment on about 62 thousand posts including constable, SI and jail warder. The Recruitment Board has invited tenders from interested companies, agencies and executive organizations to conduct the OTR process. The agency will be selected through tender. Companies/agencies must apply at sampark@uppbpb.gov.in by 16 October 2023.

UP Police Recruitment Board has said in the notice that companies will have to create an OTR platform which is linked to DigiLocker so that their details can be verified. It should be integrated with e-Aadhaar KYC. It should have links of all major banks. In this, there should be facility to send bulk MSS, email, WhatsApp messages to the candidates.

What will be the benefit of OTR in UP Police Recruitment?

Now OTR system will be compulsorily applicable for all online applications of UP Police Recruitment. No candidate will be able to apply against any advertisement without OTR. This will facilitate the candidates to comply with the procedures in respect of all advertisements. After its implementation, candidates will not have to give their personal details again and again for various selection examinations of UP Police. The applicant will need to upload his/her photo and signature only once. All the information recorded in OTR will be available in digital form anytime from anywhere.

Notification of 52 thousand constable recruitment possible this month

The Information and Public Relations Department of Uttar Pradesh Government has said that all preparations have been made for recruitment to 52699 posts of constable in UP Police. It is believed that the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board can start the application process by issuing a notification for the recruitment of 52 thousand constables in the month of October. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered that the ongoing selection process for various posts in the police department should be completed by the month of December.

Let us tell you that recruitment is to be done on 52699 posts of constable and 2469 posts of Sub Inspector in UP Police. Restoration is also to be done on 2833 posts of jail warders. A few days ago, tender notices for these recruitments were issued. Around 25 lakh applications are expected for constable recruitment.

There will be around 20 thousand to 2 lakh candidates in the physical test for various posts including constable, SI, jail warder. The agency will be selected through tender. Companies/agencies must apply at sampark@uppbpb.gov.in by 16 October 2023.
