RRB: After ALP, another big recruitment announcement, Railway Recruitment Board issued a good news notice

Railway Recruitment Board has announced another big recruitment after starting the application process for Assistant Loco Pilot posts. RRB has issued a notice saying that the notification for the new recruitment of Technician will be released soon. RRB has said that it is in the final stages of preparing the centralized employment notification for technician recruitment. This release will be issued soon. The application process for recruitment to 5696 posts of ALP is going on. Now Railways has also announced the vacancy of Technician. In technician recruitment, qualification of 10th pass and ITI in related trade is sought. Or 10th pass and apprenticeship in related trade is also acceptable.

ALP candidates in turmoil due to less vacancies in Patna

Candidates of Railway Recruitment Examination also protested on the streets on Tuesday against the low number of vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technician. The agitating candidates said that the Railways has released vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot after six years. There were not even six thousand vacancies in six years. A movement is being carried out against this. It is being said that the reinstatement of the technician will be done soon but the number has not been given. In the year 2018, 65 thousand vacancies of Loco Pilot and Technician were released. In this context, there should be 70 thousand vacancies.

This could be the process of technician recruitment

There will be a two-stage examination (First Stage CBT and Second Stage CBT) for recruitment to Technician posts. Only the candidates successful in First Stage CBT will be called for Second Stage CBT. There will be negative marking in both first and second stage. One third mark will be deducted for each wrong answer

First Stage CBT

The first stage computer based written examination will be of 1 hour in which 75 questions will be asked. To qualify the exam, unreserved category candidates will have to score 40%, OBC candidates will have to score 30%, SC will have to score 30% and ST candidates will have to score 25%. You will have to score minimum marks in this test otherwise you will be stopped here and cannot participate in the further process. In this you will be asked questions related to Maths, Reasoning, General Science, GK/Current Affairs.

Second Stage CBT

Candidates who qualify the first stage examination will be able to appear in the second stage. This exam will be of 2 hours 30 minutes. The paper will be divided into two parts. Part A and Part B.

Part A

You will get 90 minutes time for Part A and it will have 100 questions. To qualify this, unreserved category candidates will have to score 40%, OBC candidates will have to score 30%, SC will have to score 30% and ST candidates will have to score 25%. In Part A, questions related to Maths, Reasoning, General Science, GK/Current Affairs will be asked.

Part B
There will be 1 hour time to write Part B. The total number of questions in this will be 75. To qualify Part B, candidates of all categories must score 35% marks. Questions from trade syllabus will come in Part B.
