Agniveervayu Eligibility 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) selects Agniveers through the Agneepath scheme. Let us tell you, under the Agneepath Scheme, youth get a chance to work full time in the Armed Services Forces for a total of 4 years including the training period. Through this, recruitment is done not only in the Indian Army but also in the Air Force and Indian Navy. Today we are going to tell you what happens in the physical test for youth to join Indian Air Force through Agneepath Scheme.

Recently, Indian Air Force has invited online applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates under Agneepath Scheme to join IAF as Agniveervayu.

There are two stages in the Indian Air Force Agniveervayu selection process. Stage 1 will be an online written examination and Stage 2 will be a recruitment rally. Details of both the stages are given below.

Stage 1 – Online Test

In Stage 1, an online examination will be conducted across the country. For this, Indian Air Force releases the admit card and every candidate has to visit the examination center mentioned in the admit card. Let us tell you, there will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in the examination and except the English paper, questions will be asked in bilingual i.e. English and Hindi languages.

Stage-2

In this, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted. Which will be like this.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is conducted to find out whether a candidate is physically fit to join the Indian Air Force. Which includes the following parameters.

– Have to run 1.6 kilometers in 06 minutes 30 seconds.

– 10 sit-ups have to be done in one minute.

– 10 push-ups have to be done in one minute.

– 20 squats will have to be done in one minute.

Know about height and weight

Height: Minimum height should be 152.5 cms.

Chest: The minimum extent of expansion should be 5 cm.

Weight: Should be in proportion to height and age.

Hearing: Candidates should be able to hear in each ear from a distance of 6 metres.

Teeth: Must have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and at least 14 dental points.

Let us tell you, all the candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Test will have to give Adaptability Test (Objective Type Written Test).

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Candidates who qualify the Physical Fitness Test will go for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). It will be organized in the Army Service Corps (ASC).

Medical examination of the candidates who qualify PFT and PMT will be conducted by the Air Force Medical Team at the ASC venue as per Air Force Medical Standards and Policy.

Ineligible candidates will be referred to the Appeal Medical Board (AMB) for expert review. Candidates must report to AMB within 5 days of referral and review medical examination to be completed by AMB within 07 days as per policy.
