UP KGBV Shikshak Vacancy 2023-24: Recruitment of more than 3 thousand teachers in 442 Kasturba schools present in Uttar Pradesh can start soon. Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council has sent a proposal to the government to create posts for teacher recruitment. This information has been released by the UP Basic Education Department on Friday. According to the report, Kasturba Gandhi schools of the state have been upgraded up to Intermediate. On an average, 7 teachers i.e. about 3 thousand teachers will be appointed in each of these schools.
Posting on Twitter, the department said, “A proposal has been sent to the government to create posts for the recruitment of teachers in the upgraded Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Schools of the state.”
According to the report, educational work will start in the upgraded Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools from April 2024 in the coming new year. That means, admissions in these schools will start from the upcoming session. In such a situation, it has become necessary to fill the vacancies of teachers. In these schools, girls from poor families or backward classes at the block level will be given priority for studying science. Now science classes will start in advanced schools. After this, commerce and arts studies will also start gradually.
The proposal has been sent to the government by the Directorate General of Schools of Basic Education. The recruitment process of teachers will start soon. In these schools, teachers working as full-time teachers will be given an honorarium of Rs 22500 per month and those teaching part-time will be given an honorarium of Rs 8998 per month.

The department also said that to overcome the shortage of teachers in each school, about four and a half thousand teachers will be hired on contract.
