There will be recruitment on 349 new posts in the district councils of Bihar. Panchayati Raj Department has created new posts for recruitment on 6 different posts including Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, Lower Division Clerk. The vacancy will soon be sent to BPSC, Technical Services and State Staff Selection Commission for reinstatement on these posts. There is to be regular reinstatement on all posts. Before this, 2554 posts which were no longer useful in the district councils were surrendered. In addition to the already approved posts, 349 posts at various levels of technical and non-technical categories in Zilla Parishad offices have been approved by the government.

In the review, the Panchayati Raj Department found that many such posts have already been approved in the Zilla Parishad, which are no longer useful. Additional posts are required in some categories. The number of posts already created in Zilla Parishad is 3267. Most of these posts have been created under the Health Department or Education Department or they are not required at all. 2554 such posts have been surrendered.

Recruitment will be done on 318 posts of Horticulture Officer

Bihar Public Service Commission has released vacancies for a total of 318 posts of Block Horticulture Officers under the Horticulture Directorate under the Agriculture Department. Vacancies have been issued for these posts for the first time. Applications will be available from March 1st. The last date is set for March 21. In this, 110 posts have been reserved category wise for women. The basis of selection will be written and interview. In this, there will be a total examination of 800 marks including 100 marks in General Hindi, 100 marks in General Knowledge, two papers of 200 marks each in Horticulture/Agriculture Science. Questions will be objective. The number of questions will be 100.

Admit card for Bihar Agricultural Service exam has been released. The written examination of Bihar Agricultural Service is to be held from March 1 to March 4. 50 thousand candidates will participate in it. BPSC has uploaded the admit card of the candidates to appear in the examination on the website.

Information related to the examination has been made available on the website of the Commission. Candidates will have to follow the instructions given. Candidates who do not do so will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
