CSBC BPSSC Bihar Police Constable SI Bharti 2023: At Bihar Police Headquarters, ADG Jitendra Singh Gangwar said on Friday that to increase the number of policemen in the state, the approval of 75543 posts has been received from the state government. Out of 75543 new posts sanctioned in Bihar Police, there will be direct recruitment on 68360 posts. The remaining 7183 posts will be filled by promotion. Out of 68360 posts to be filled through direct recruitment, 6 are DSP, 23653 are Sub Inspector (Daroga), 35774 are Constable and 8927 are Driver Constable.
ADG Jitendra Singh said in the press conference, ‘The process of recruitment to these posts has been started. The work of roster clearance and classification of posts related to this new recruitment is being done. Will send its requisition to the concerned recruitment agencies very soon. Selection for the posts of DSP under direct recruitment is done by Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), selection for the posts of constable is done by Central Selection Board (CSBC) and selection for the posts of sub-inspector is done by Bihar Police Under Service Commission (BPSSC). . All these commissions will conduct their separate recruitment examinations. Will issue separate releases. After the completion of this recent process, the number of policemen per one lakh population in Bihar will be 183.
It is being told that the process of new recruitment of Constable and SI in Bihar Police can start from the month of May-June. Central Selection Board Constable Recruitment, Bihar (CSBC) will soon release the notification of Constable Recruitment. 12th i.e. Inter pass candidates will be able to apply for the posts of constable. Eligible candidates will be selected in this recruitment of CSBC after being found eligible in written examination and physical standard and efficiency test. The written test will be of Intermediate (10+2) level in which questions will be asked from the detailed text material of class 12th level of Bihar Board. For men and women of general (unreserved) category, the minimum age will be 18 years and the maximum age will be 25 years.

Graduation qualification can be asked for Bihar Police SI Recruitment. The maximum age limit for General Category is 37 years for SI and 25 years for Constable. Relaxation in age limit will be given as per reservation rules.
