DSSSB Teacher Recruitment 2021: The way for the recruitment process of more than 12 thousand TGT teachers in Delhi government schools has been cleared. In this regard, the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has started its preparations. Under which DSSSB will start the application process for recruitment from June this year. While the written test will be held in January 2022 for recruitment.
The DSSSB has filed an affidavit in the Delhi High Court on Wednesday regarding the recruitment process of over 12,000 TGT teachers in Delhi government schools. In which DSSSB has submitted a calendar before the court to start the recruitment process. In this regard, it has been told that the appointment process is being started for 18 different classes of TGT teachers. On the other hand, in the calendar about the recruitment process, it has been told that DSSSB will advertise on May 31, 2020 to start the recruitment process of teachers. After this, the application process will be started in June. Which will continue till 31 July. The affidavit further states that there will be a written examination of the applicants on 15 January and the results will be removed on 31 May 2022 by completing the appointment process.
It is also mentioned in the affidavit that the appointment process will be completed in many important departments of the government. The vacancies in the Directorate of Training and Technical Education, Directorate of Social Welfare, South Delhi Municipal Corporation, Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi Fire Service, Women and Child Welfare Department, Labor Department and Delhi Jal Board will also be filled. This affidavit has been presented by the government while hearing a contempt petition. In this regard, a contempt petition was filed in the High Court on behalf of the social institution Social Jurist. It was said that the process was started by the government in March 2020 for the recruitment of teachers in various classes. But even after a year had passed, the vacant teachers’ posts were not filled.
On this, the High Court was informed by DSSSB that due to Kovid-19, the recruitment process had to be interrupted. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority flagged off the online examination on 7 December 2020. But it was not possible to take the exam in haste. Therefore, DSSSB has prepared a calendar of fresh recruitment process for this. Which will be completed from 31 May 2021 to 31 May 2022.
