Women in BSF Camel Contingent: Republic Day 2023 preparations have been started. This time, for the first time, women are also going to participate in the BSF camel riding squad in the Republic Day 2023 parade. For the first time, the women guards of the camel riding unit of the Border Security Force (BSF) will participate in the parade along with the male jawans. The lady Prahari will be part of the BSF Camel Squad in a very special royal dress.

The famous BSF Camel Squad has been a part of the Republic Day celebrations since 1976 and this time it will be historic to have women in it.

BSF camel squad includes women for the first time

The royal dress of the women guards has been specially designed for riding camels with their male counterparts. The uniforms for the women guards have been designed by renowned designer Raghavendra Rathore. Designed for women guards, this uniform showcases many of the country’s precious craft forms. It is produced in different parts of the country and edited in-house at Raghavendra Rathore’s Jodhpur studio.
