JEE Main Result 2024: Know what will be the further process after the result is declared

JEE Main 2024 Result: National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2024 Session 1 exam today i.e. on February 12. According to the official brochure, JEE Mains Session 1 Result 2024 will be announced on 12th February i.e. today. Once NTA declares the result, students can check the result from the official website of JEE Mains i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. The Paper 1 exam for BE- BTech was held on January 27, 29, 30,31 and February 1, while the Paper 2 exam for B Arch and B Planning was held on January 24. According to reports, a total of 12 lakh students had registered for both the papers of JEE Mains this year, out of which 11.70 lakh appeared for the exam. Let us know in such a situation, what will be the further process after the release of the result.

First of all, if a student passes the JEE Mains exam, then he can apply for JEE Advanced exam, the application process for which is likely to start in April 2024.

– After the declaration of JEE Mains Session 1 result, eligible students can apply for admission to the courses of their choice through JoSAA, CSAB and other counseling process. Students who want to improve their scores can apply for JEE MAIN session 2.

– Students appearing in both the sessions of JEE MAIN 2024 can apply for IIT JEE Advanced entrance examination only if their rank is within the top 2,50,000 lakh rank. Let us tell you, admission in IIT is done on the basis of JEE Advanced score.

– JoSAA and CSAB counseling will take place after both the sessions of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced examinations.

– After the declaration of the result, the scanned copy of the final scorecard of JEE Mains – 2024 will be sent to the registered e-mail ID of the candidates.
