IERT: Package of Rs 2.70 lakh to 20 students of 3 year engineering diploma course, admission process also continues

Campus placement of students of Diploma Engineering branch of Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT) has started. On January 4 and 5, 20 students of Mechanical and Electrical branch of Diploma Engineering were placed at an annual package of Rs 2.70 lakh. Sanjeev Pratap Singh, Training and Employment Officer of the institute, welcomed the guests. Director of the institute, Dr. Vimal Mishra and Examination Secretary Umashankar Verma wished for the bright future of the selected students.

Let us tell you that IERT offers three-year engineering diploma courses in various branches. Online applications have started here for admission in the new session 2024-25. The last date of application is 30 April. The entrance examination for diploma engineering courses is scheduled on June 11 between 10 am to 1 pm. The entrance examination for management courses is proposed on June 14 between 10 am to 1 pm. This examination will be held only on campus. Interested candidates can get information related to application and examination on the official website of the institute www.ierentrance.in.

Entrance exam in 7 cities for the first time

For the first time, the entrance examination will be conducted in seven cities of the state. Earlier the entrance examination was held only in Prayagraj. This time the examination will be held at various centers in seven cities including Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Mirzapur, Ayodhya Cantt, Lucknow and Kanpur.

This year, applications have been invited for admission to a total of 975 seats in 13 branches of Diploma Engineering, 225 seats in three branches of two-year Management Diploma and 18 seats in one-and-a-half year PDCA (Post Diploma in Computer Application).

172 candidates got jobs in employment fair

Various private sector companies selected 172 candidates in the employment fair organized on Saturday at the Regional Employment Office in Prayagraj. 280 candidates had participated. District Employment Officer Chandrakant Singh told the youth that those who were not selected can participate in the future fair. Rambharose Verma, Prashant, Maroof Ahmed etc. were present.
