BRABU Admission 2024: Record applications received in PG, cut off will increase

So far, about 20 thousand applications have been received in BRABU for admission in PG session 2023-25. Admission is to be done on seven thousand PG seats. On the other hand, the date of application for admission in PG has been extended till January 20. DSW Prof. Abhay Kumar Singh gave it. He told that this year all the records of applications for PG admission have been broken. Till now in history, the highest number of applications have come from students. 12 to 15 thousand applications used to come in PG, but 20 thousand applications have already come. The admission process will start after 20th. In Bihar University, maximum applications have come for History, Hindi and Zoology subjects.

PG is starting in seven colleges this year. PG studies are starting in seven colleges this year. This includes RBBM College, Rameshwar College, LS College, LND College, RLSY College. For the first time from this session, PG studies will start in Bhojpuri. PG studies will start in Hindi in RBBM. English will be studied in LS College, M.Com in Rameshwar College. Bhojpuri studies will also be imparted in LS College.

Committee meeting will be held before admission. DSW said that there will be a meeting of the admission committee before admission. What will be the cutoff level will be discussed in the meeting. Cutoff list will be released category wise in PG. The process of making merit list will start after January 20. Merit list will be released online.

The number of seats in PG may increase. In view of more applications, the number of seats in PG may increase. DSW said that a decision on this will be taken in the meeting of the Admission Committee for admission in PG. At present there are around seven thousand seats in PG, but more applications have been received for admission. Therefore, we will consider increasing the number of seats. In admission, the student will be given first choice in his own district. DSW informed that this time PG studies have also started in Motihari, Bettiah.

Therefore, students will be allotted the college of their district as per their convenience. While making the merit list, care will be taken as to which student belongs to which district.
