Deepinder Goyal is now going to enter the home service segment. Deepinder Goyal-owned Blinkit is now going to step into the home service category itself. Will launch home service segment

Deepinder Goyal was appointed director on the board of Urban Company in the year 2022 itself. Blinkit already offers home chef services through Gurugram-headquartered ChefKart. It has not been decided yet, in what way Blinkit will step into the home service segment. There is no clarity in this regard, and it is also possible that this service will be offered on Blinkit’s platform only. Blinkit has put together a new team of employees. Hired some employees to launch the home service segment. 

The company suffered so much loss 

Zomato has a net loss of Rs 346.6 crore in the December quarter. In the last year quarter, the company’s loss stood at Rs 63.2 crore. During this period, the company’s total income has been Rs 1,948.2 crore, which has been 75.2 percent more than the Rs 1,112 crore in the same period of the previous financial year. Zomato’s net operating loss for the December quarter stood at Rs 366.2 crore, compared to Rs 488.8 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
