The prices of commercial cylinders have increased so much

Government oil companies Indian Oil (IOC), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) have increased the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder. In various cities, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 25.50 from today, while there is no change in the price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder.

Increased twice this year. Price

This is the second consecutive increase in the price of commercial cylinders. The prices of 19 kg LPG cylinders have been increased twice so far in the year 2024. Government oil and gas companies have announced this increase in prices at a time when Holi festival is falling this month. Holi, the festival of colors, is going to be celebrated across the country on 24-25 March.

Latest prices in major cities

After this increase, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased. It has become Rs 1,795.00. Earlier it was available for Rs 1,769.50. In this way the price in Delhi has increased by Rs 25.50. In Mumbai, the price of 19 kg cylinder has now increased from Rs 1723.50 to Rs 1749. Now this cylinder will be available in Kolkata for Rs 1911, which was earlier available for Rs 1887. Among the four big cities, commercial cylinders are the most expensive in Chennai. The price in Chennai has now increased from Rs 1937 to Rs 1960.50.

The prices had increased in February also

The highest increase has happened in Delhi and Mumbai, where the price is Rs 25.50 per cylinder. Have been increased. There has been an increase of Rs 24 in Kolkata and Rs 23.50 in Chennai. Earlier in the month of February, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinders was increased by Rs 14. This means that commercial cylinders have become expensive for the second time in a span of one month.

Domestic cylinder prices remain stable

If we talk about domestic LPG cylinder i.e. 14 kg cylinder, this time There has been no change in the price also. There has been no change in the prices of domestic cylinders for the last several months. The last change in this was on August 30. Meaning, the price of 14 kg cylinder has been stable for 6 months. Currently, domestic LPG cylinder is available in Delhi for Rs 903. Its price is Rs 918.50 in Chennai, Rs 902.50 in Mumbai and Rs 929 in Kolkata.
