In this, it has been announced to increase the purchase price of sugarcane by Rs 25 and continue the 20 percent export duty on the export of rice even after March 31, 2024. When was the export duty imposed on rice
To keep domestic prices under control in the country, 20 percent export duty was imposed on refined rice from August 25, 2023 to October 16, 2023, which was later extended till March 31, 2024. Today the period of this export duty has been extended but no date has been given for how long it will continue, that is, for now it will continue indefinitely.
