Anand Mahindra: Anand Mahindra liked this Bolero, thanked the engineer

Autonomous Driving Bolero: The world of cars is changing rapidly. Now the car is not just a means of transportation. It is being made a lifestyle statement. The use of technology in cars has also increased rapidly. After petrol and diesel, feature loaded electric and hybrid cars are dominant. Efforts are being made to increase the capacity of cars so much that they do not need drivers. India's steps in the direction of autonomous driving are also increasing rapidly and ADAS technology has started being provided in many of our cars. A similar experiment was done by an engineer from Bhopal on Bolero. Anand Mahindra's eye caught the Eid video of autonomous driving Bolero. He liked this Bolero very much. He also thanked for choosing Bolero for autonomous driving.

Evidence of tech innovation rising across India.

An engineer who’s not building yet another delivery app. @sanjeevs_iitr is using complex math to target level 5 autonomy.

I’m cheering loudly. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

And certainly won’t debate his choice of car! pic.twitter.com/luyJXAkQap

Anand Mahindra thanked through tweet

Anand Mahindra wrote in the tweet that this is a proof of increasing tech innovation in the country. I am very happy to see this. I thank this engineer that he worked on this difficult topic instead of creating another delivery app. Also, I don't want to argue with his choice of Bolero.

Bhopal startup made self-driving Bolero

Actually, this self-driving Bolero has been made by a startup from Bhopal. He was testing it. During this time someone made a video and posted it on the internet. When this video reached Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra, he also retweeted it. It can be seen in the video that this Bolero is equipped with self-driving technology. This car runs very comfortably on the roads. The driver does not even need to touch its steering.

Overcoming all the challenges easily in the video

This self-driving Bolero has been made by IIT-educated Sanjeev Sharma. He has been working on autonomous driving technology since 2009. For this he has collected everything from hardware to software. In this, lidar sensors, cameras, radar system and a central system capable of taking real time decisions have also been prepared. In the video, this modified Bolero is seen easily overcoming different types of challenges on the road. It continues to move forward on its path, avoiding vehicles and people parked on the road. It also overtakes the vehicles coming from the front.
