Advance Salary: Good news for these central employees, will get advance salary and pension;  Bonus will also continue

The government has decided to give advance salary and pension to the central employees of some states. This gift is being given to the employees keeping Onam and Ganesh Chaturthi in mind. Advance salary and pension will be released before the end of August month. 

The central government has said that this gift will be given to all central employees in two states. On August 14, 2023, a notification regarding advance salary and pension has been issued by the Ministry of Finance. The Finance Ministry said that the salary of Kerala employees for the month of August will be released on 25. 

When will Maharashtra employees get benefits

On the other hand, advance salary, wages and pension for all the employees of Maharashtra will be released on September 27. Advance salary will be released to the employees of Kerala and Maharashtra on the occasion of Onam and Ganesh Chaturthi. Its benefits will be issued to the pensioners through the bank or post office. The Finance Ministry further said that the wages of central government industrial employees will also be released during this month. 

The Reserve Bank of India has asked all the banks that under this decision of the Central Government, the employees should be paid as soon as possible. RBI said that the instructions should be implemented for necessary action.   

Kerala employees will get bonus 

The Kerala government has asked its employees to issue a bonus of Rs 4,000 under Onam. According to PTI, employees who are not eligible for the bonus will be given a special festival allowance of Rs 2,750. On the other hand, retired employees, who are taking advantage of pension, will be given a special festival allowance of Rs 1000. Apart from this, bonus will also be given to contract employees.
