In Pakistan, the Muslim fundamentalist organization Tehreek-e-Labbaik (TLP) has become like a blasphemer for Prime Minister Imran Khan and the army. Violent demonstrations of TLP in many cities of Pakistan have worsened the situation. According to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, at least four policemen have been killed and 250 others have been injured in TLP firing. Amidst the tense situation, Pakistan Army has been deployed in Punjab province for the next 60 days.

This radical organization belonging to the Barelvi community has come out to surround Islamabad. This organization was raised by Imran Khan and the army against the Nawaz Sharif government and today it has become like a blasphemy for both. It is being told that this incident of firing took place on Wednesday in Gujranwala district of Punjab province. TLP supporters ran and beat the policemen. It is being told that there are 70 policemen among the injured, out of which the condition of 8 people is critical. A police spokesman in Pakistan’s Punjab province said TLP members were using machine guns, AK-47 rifles and pistols to attack policemen. He told that due to this the policemen have died.
Imran government bowed before Muslim fundamentalists, Pakistani policemen furious
Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid called the army
Several videos have surfaced on social media in which TLP can be seen firing. After all this, the Imran government is not taking strong action against the fundamentalists. Trying to make them happy. On the other hand, the hardline organization has claimed that many of its workers have either been killed or injured. These policemen are stopping the TLP people from going to Islamabad and due to this there was a shootout between the two. Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said on Wednesday that razors attached to the Pakistan Army have been deployed in Punjab to maintain law and order for the next 60 days.

Meanwhile, the Government of Pakistan has declared Tehreek-e-Labbaik as a militant organization. Earlier, the policemen were angry with the Pakistan government’s leniency against the banned organization TLP. On 22 October, Lubbeck’s supporters created a ruckus in many cities including Lahore, the capital of Punjab. These supporters are demanding the release of their leader Saad Hussain Rizvi. Also want to close the French embassy. Rizvi was detained in April this year for spreading riots across the country and causing damage to government property. Now the Imran government has given a decree to release the arrested gangsters of TLP and return the registered cases. The Punjab Police has expressed strong objection and grief regarding this.

Police said – the government forgot the martyrs

Pakistani media don quoted police sources as saying that many of our comrades were killed while performing their duties during the TLP’s violent protests. A large number of policemen were also injured. But, every time the government struck a deal with the TLP. They did not even care that our people had to face the petrol bombs, bricks and stones, batons and other weapons of these demonstrators. Our vehicles were burnt, weapons and goods were snatched away and the government is compromising. This is in addition to the damage caused to public property.
