UP Madarsa: Big decision regarding Madrasas of UP, the method of education will change, there will be holiday for so many days in a year

Lucknow: Another important decision has been taken regarding the recognized madrassas of Uttar Pradesh. On Monday, Madrasa Education Council Chairman Iftikhar Ahmed said that pre-primary classes will also be conducted in the upcoming session i.e. session starting from March. Under this system, children will be taught KG, LKG and UKG. In this, children will also be taught subjects like science, mathematics etc. Along with this, computer education will also be given in madrasas. The work of making syllabus for pre-primary classes has also been started.

Madrasa Board Chairman Iftikhar Ahmad Ka said that the exercise to modernize the madrasas is going on. Children of UP madrassas study subjects like science, mathematics and efforts are being made to include them in the mainstream of education. Every effort is being made to ensure that the children of the madrasa do not miss out on modern education. He told that in the session of 2023-24, new syllabus, along with religious education, modern education will also be made available. Because in present times even young children go to madrassas to study. In this context, this decision has been taken so that they can get better education at an early stage.

Madrasas will have 75 days holiday

Several proposals were put forward in the meeting of the Madarsa Board on December 21. In this, there was a proposal to make uniform uniform in madrassas, arrangement for Hajj and Umrah leave, making MTET mandatory for teachers in madrassas. Apart from this, the most discussed thing was that the weekly holiday in Madrasas should be changed to Sunday instead of Friday. At the same time, the UP Madarsa Board had released the calendar for the year 2023. In this, the chairman of the board had given the details of the holidays of the madrassas for the whole year. In the year 2023, madrassas will remain closed for a total of 75 days. Apart from this, there will be a weekly holiday in Madrasas only on Friday. It was proposed to do it on the first Sunday.
