Mathura News: Honeytrap trap, used to extort money from people by blackmail, four arrested with police uniform

Mathura: Police has busted a honeytrap gang in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The police arrested four accused including a woman by laying a trap. All the arrested accused had targeted a person from Bharatpur, Rajasthan. At the same time, the police uniform has also been recovered from the accused.

Used to threaten to trap in honey trap

Shyamveer, a resident of Chiksana police station in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, had left his house saying he was going to the market. On January 1, when Shyamveer did not return home till late night, the family members started searching for him. At the same time, Sachin informed the Chiksana police station of Bharatpur about the disappearance of his father Shyamveer. After getting the information, the police became alert and started searching for Shyamveer on the basis of mobile location. Police found the location of Shyamveer who went missing in Mathura’s Vrindavan Kotwali. The police laid a trap to nab the accused. Four accused, including a woman, have been arrested by the police from a posh colony in Vrindavan. Bharatpur SP Shyam Singh said that on January 1, Sachin’s son Shyamveer, a resident of Khemra Kala village of Chiksana police station, had informed the police that his father Shyamveer had gone to the market on a motorcycle with Dharamveer Jatav. Did not return home till late night.

The SP said that Sachin told that at 6:40 in the morning on my mobile phone, the father told that he was held hostage by a woman named Kavita and three persons at a flat in Omaxe in Vrindavan. In lieu of leaving, the accused are also demanding three lakh rupees. If not given, they are threatening to trap in honeytrap. On information, the police raided and arrested Kavita, male friend Dinesh, Vijay and Ramkesh. Shyamveer and Dharamveer Jatav were freed from the clutches of the kidnappers.

Used to use police uniform to threaten

The SP told that the kidnappers had called his son Sachin in front of Kamal Mandir Vrindavan after taking Rs 3 lakh from Shyamveer’s mobile. Where police personnel were stationed in plain uniform. As soon as the kidnappers reached the spot on a motorcycle, the police nabbed them. Police uniforms have also been recovered from the accused, on which they told that they also resort to police uniforms to intimidate people.
