Apple's goal is to make this process easy and intuitive. Apart from this, Apple has also made some other announcements during DMA compliance on Thursday, such as the ability to change the default apps and the ability to remove the Safari browser. Easy process to transfer data

Apple is making it easier for iPhone users to switch to Android thanks to a good data transferring process. Apple has confirmed that, as described in the DMA compliance report, it is developing a process that allows mobile operating system providers to make it more convenient for users to transfer data from an iPhone to a non-Apple phone. Helps in creating a friendly process. Apple may release this new process to users by the end of 2024 or beginning of 2025.

Ability to uninstall Safari

Apple has confirmed that it will give users the option to remove one of its default apps – Safari. Additionally, these users will be able to choose a third-party browser as the default browser. This change in the European Union may happen by the end of 2024.

Select third-party app navigation app

By March 2025, Apple company will also allow iPhone users to set third-party navigation apps as default. Due to this feature, the need to completely depend on Apple Maps will end. This means that then users can set Google Maps as their default maps app in iPhone also. However, this feature of Apple will also be implemented for the users of European Union.
