New feature of WhatsApp

This means that you will record a voice message in your phone and the transcribe feature will convert the same message into a text note. With this, users will be able to know the message even without listening to the voice note. This feature will be especially beneficial for those people who do voice chatting during a meeting or doing any important work.

This feature has been spotted by WABetaInfo, a website that provides updates on all the features of WhatsApp. This new feature of WhatsApp has been released on the beta version of Android 2.24.7.8.

Features already present in Apple devices

Currently, this feature is in testing mode and has been introduced for some selected beta users. The name of this feature is Transcribe Voice Note Feature. WABetaInfo has also shared a screenshot of this new feature, in which it can be seen that along with someone's voice message, what is spoken in it is automatically seen written in text form.

WhatsApp will start rolling out this feature for all its Android users in the coming time. The size of this update is 150MB. This feature of WhatsApp will work on on-device speech recognition. Let us tell you that the company had launched this feature for iOS i.e. Apple company's devices in May 2023 itself, but the company has now decided to roll out this feature for Android devices.
