Chinese smartphone brand Redmi has recently launched Redmi 13C 5G smartphone in India. Its price is Rs 9,999 which is an affordable 5G phone. The new smartphone is somewhat like the old Redmi 12C, although you will see some changes in the new one. In this article we will tell you in detail what is the difference between new and old and which one should you take?

Price 

The price of 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the new Redmi 13C 5G in India is Rs 10,999. A discount offer of Rs 1,000 is also being given on select bank cards, which effectively brings the price of this 5G phone to Rs 9,999. On the other hand, Redmi 12C 4G was launched earlier this year for Rs 9,999 and can now be purchased through Flipkart for Rs 7,999.

Design 

Redmi's new phone comes with a boxy design and its back panel shows geometric patterns and green and yellow wedding when sunlight falls on it. Compared to the old model, the company has made changes in the design of the new model so that the customers do not find it the same.

Display and processor 

Both phones have almost the same screen. Redmi 12C has a 6.71 inch HD Plus display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. At the same time, the new phone has a 6.74 inch LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It has tear drop notch and Gorilla Glass 3 coating.  Talking about processor, the new phone supports 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset whereas the old one had MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.

How much has changed in the camera?

Redmi 12c 5G has dual camera setup in which 50MP primary camera and 5MP camera is available in the front. Both the phones have the same camera setup and there is no major change in it. Talking about battery, both the phones have a 5000 mAh battery which supports 10 watt charging.

What is best for you?

See, if you want a 5G phone cheaply then the new model is best for you. At the same time, if 5G phone is not your priority then the old model is also best for you. There is a difference of Rs 2,000 in the price of both. You can take any model according to your choice and usage.
