Qualcomm inaugurates new chip center in India, will work on 6G, WiFi and wireless connectivity

Qualcomm: Qualcomm, one of the world's most popular chip manufacturers, on Thursday inaugurated a new chip design center in Chennai, India. A total investment of Rs 177.27 crore has been made for this new chip design centre. The work of this center will be to increase wireless connectivity in India and develop new Wi-Fi technologies.

Apart from this, about 1600 new jobs are also expected to be created due to this center opened in Chennai by chip maker company Qualcomm, who will be technology experts. Apart from this, Qualcomm will get help in semiconductor design through the Make in India vision of the Government of India. Apart from this, this company and its new centers will also help in increasing the strong indigenous design ecosystem.
