In these satellites launched by SpaceX, 21 modern cutting-edge Starlink satellites flew, out of which 6 satellites were specially designed to support the innovative 'Direct to Sale' service. Elon Musk's company SpaceX had announced these 6 special satellites in 2022.

After the success of this new mission, the initial phase will be tested on normal 4G LTE phones on T-Mobile's network inside the United States. If these tests are successful, the text messaging service will go live in many countries later this year.
What is SpaceX's plan by 2025?
Looking at future expansion of services, SpaceX plans to enable text messaging as well as voice, data and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity by 2025. All these facilities will be started after successful activation of Direct to Sale Satellite.
