Smartphone Tips: Someone else is listening to your private talks? Immediately turn off this setting in the smartphone

Is my phone listening to me? From the different news of hacking, scam, fraud, blackmailing etc told through us, you must have understood that everything is possible in this digital era. You may live in a small village but even a person sitting in Dubai can know your bank details. It means to say that in this digital age anything can be done from anywhere. Today we are telling you about an important setting to further improve your privacy. Most of us keep this setting on and do not pay much attention to it.

Actually, the setting we are talking about is – Microphone access. Nowadays every app asks for access to our microphone. The danger is more when you keep third party apps also in the phone because they have no confidence in how they operate. It means to say that they can secretly listen to your voice or conversation and your data can be leaked. Many times you must have also noticed that you are talking about a product and its ads start coming in mobile. This happens because we keep the Voice Assistant active and it has access to the microphone.

Keep yourself safe like this

No one else can hear your conversation, so remove the microphone access after all the apps are done. Do not unnecessarily give any permission to any app as it may lead to data leakage. Our advice to all of you is that in this digital era, select every option after knowing/understanding it and do not choose anything without reading it. Keep only trusted apps in the phone and stay away from third party websites and apps as much as possible. Also, do not share your number, mail id and banking details on any platform.
