Team India selection for ODI World Cup.. Shikhar Dhawan reacts for the first time.. What is it?

Team India veteran batsman Shikhar Dhawan has not been selected by the selectors for the last few days. In the past, Dhawan was entrusted with the responsibility of leading the second-order team when the senior team toured other countries. But recently he is not paying attention. Everyone thinks that this is the end card for Dhawan’s international career.

Adding to these speculations, Dhawan did not get a place in the announced team for the upcoming Asian Games in China. But his fans, who were hoping that he would be included in the ODI World Cup team, were disappointed. Dhawan’s name was not included in the recently announced India ODI World Cup squad. With this, all the avenues for his re-entry seem to be closed.

Dhawan had earlier said that his name was not included in the squad selected for the Asian Games as a surprise. He recently reacted to the loss of place in the ODI World Cup team. But Gabbar showed his great mind with the response. Dhawan congratulated the team selected for the World Cup. He posted this on social media.
“Congratulations to my fellow teammates and friends who have been selected to represent India in the ODI World Cup 2023. You have the blessings of 150 crore people. Win the trophy and make us proud. Go all out. Team India,” Dhawan posted.

The much-awaited India-Pakistan match will be held at Ahmedabad on October 14. The 10-team tournament will be played in a round-robin format.
