T20I World Cup: Virat Kohli hugs Mohammad Rizwan, Dhoni talks to Pakistani captain

In the T20 World Cup 2021 match, the Pakistan team led by Babar Azam defeated Virat Kohli’s team by 10 wickets on Sunday. In this match held at the Dubai International Stadium, the Indian team had to be defeated in every aspect of the game.

As long as the match continued, there was a tough competition between the two teams. However, after the end of the match, the players of both the teams showed great sportsmanship. First Virat Kohli hugged Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni then spoke with Pakistani players.

Pakistan defeated India for the first time in the history of the World Cup. Captain Babar made 68 and Rizwan played an unbeaten innings of 79 runs. Pakistan won the match with 13 balls remaining. Both of them also made the biggest partnership for Pakistan in T20 International against India.

Apart from Pakistan’s first win over India in the World Cup, Kohli’s hug to Mohammad Rizwan in spite of the loss also went viral. The Indian captain hugged Rizwan with a smile and congratulated him on the victory.

After this, Indian team’s mentor and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was talking with Pakistan’s veteran player Shoaib Malik. It also included Babar Azam and Imad Wasim.

Pakistan’s next match is against New Zealand on Tuesday. On the other hand, Virat Kohli’s team will face New Zealand on the next Sunday i.e. 31 October.
