Pakistan beat Afghanistan by 5 wickets to register their third consecutive win in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Super 12 Group 2. Asif Ali was instrumental in this victory, who hit 4 sixes in the 19th over, giving the team a spectacular victory with one over remaining.

Babar and Fakhar shared a 63-run partnership
Afghanistan took the wicket of Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan (08) in the third over. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman shared a 63-run partnership for the second wicket. Thanks to these two, Pakistan were 72 for one in 10 overs and had to score 76 runs in the next 60 balls.
