IPL 2023: What will be the playing XI of Chennai Super Kings in the first match of IPL, know Dhoni’s master plan

CSK in IPL: Chennai Super Kings performed very poorly in the last season of IPL. This team, which won the IPL title four times, was ranked ninth out of 10 teams in the last IPL season. The last time the captaincy of Chennai was handled by Ravindra Jadeja, but due to continuous defeat, Dhoni once again took over the captaincy.

This year only Dhoni will be seen captaining Chennai. The new season of IPL is going to start on March 31 and in the first match itself, the lions of Chennai Super Kings will take the field. The first match of IPL 2023 will be played between the defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. Let us tell you what will be the playing XI of Chennai Super Kings in the first match.

Playing XI of CSK in the first match

number-1 we will keep Rituraj Gaikwad, who can open the batting with Ajinkya Rahane at number-2. In this way CSK will get two opener batsmen from India.

number-3 we are keeping Moin Ali of England. Who has the ability to make long shots with the left hand. Dhoni is also trying to balance the team by sending him at number three for the last 2-3 seasons.

Number-4 can be experienced middle-order batsman Ambati Rayudu, who plays spin very well and can also hit big shots on fast bowlers.

number-5. With Ben Stokes in the middle order, the balance of the team will be excellent.

Number-6 will be Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself, who knows how to play according to the conditions of the match and also the right hand-left hand combination will remain.

number-7. Ravindra Jadeja has been batting brilliantly in the last few months and he can hit some big shots and finish off at this position.

Number-8 can be Deepak Chahar. Deepak Chahar is one of the most important players of CSK. He is capable of opening the bowling as well as batting.

Number-9 South African all-rounder Dwayne Pretorius can be given a chance to play. Pretorius can bowl and bat right-handed as well. He can play the role of third fast bowler in this team.

Number-10 New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner can be placed, who can also take wickets in powerplay with his spin bowling and he is also capable of hitting big shots while batting.

Number-11 can be left arm fast swing bowler Mukesh Chowdhary. Mukesh Chowdhary won Dhoni’s heart last season with his sharp bowling.

In this playing eleven of Chennai, there is a combination of right hand and left hand from beginning to end, due to which the opposition bowlers will not get a chance to settle in the entire innings. Apart from this, this Chennai team has all-rounders up to number 10, which means that Miches Santner, who plays at number-10, can also turn the tide of any match on the basis of batting.

Keep in mind that we have prepared this playing XI of Chennai only for the first match, because Sri Lankan players will not be available in the opening matches. Some changes can be made in this team combination after his arrival.
