In women’s singles, PV Sindhu defeated Neslihan Yigit of Turkey in the quarterfinals. Reigning world champion and third seed Sindhu registered a 21-13, 21-10 win over unseeded Yigit. This is Sindhu’s fourth win against Yigit.
