Brendon McCullum changed his coaching style in IPL 2021, told what was special

Brendon McCullum on His Coaching Style: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) head coach Brendon McCullum said that his coaching style in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year was a bit different. After struggling in the first leg of the tournament in India, KKR made a strong comeback at the resumption of the tournament in the UAE, where they lost to champions Chennai Super Kings.

Brendon McCullum said on Thursday, "In the second phase of the IPL, my coaching style was a bit different. Thankfully the batsmen batted aggressively. Due to this our plans in Dubai were successful and the results were also better." Let us inform that at the end of the first half of IPL 2021, KKR had won only two out of seven matches and was at the seventh position in the points table, but in the second half, the team made a great comeback and made a place in the final.

Even though KKR’s team could not win the title, but the head coach of the team is satisfied with the return of KKR. They said, "Luckily we were able to do well in the second half of the tournament. We brought a little more passion into the batting and after that we were able to play a little more aggressive cricket. We did well in the second half of the tournament. Our situation was very bad (after the first leg). We were under a lot of pressure with two wins from seven matches and a seventh-place finish from eight teams. But people had very low expectations from us."
