Bayern Munich beat Union Berlin 5-2

Munich, Oct 31 (AP) Robert Lewandowski scored twice as Bayern Munich beat Union Berlin 5-2 in the Bundesliga football tournament.

Bayern Munich’s team thus managed to recover from a 0-5 defeat against Borussia Mönchenglbach.

Lewandowski scored a penalty in the 15th minute after scoring a free kick in the 23rd minute to give Bayern a 2-0 lead. Leroy Sen (34th), Kingsley Koman (60th) and Thomas Mueller (79th) also scored for Bayern.

Nico Giebelmann (43rd) and Julian Ryerson (65th) scored for Union Berlin.

With this defeat Union Berlin’s unbeaten campaign in 21 consecutive home matches of the Bundesliga also came to an end.

Bayern have taken a one point lead over Borussia Dortmund at the top of the points table with their eighth win in the Bundesliga’s nine matches.
