On the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Yogi said that if there was a leadership like Modi in 1947, India would have become the biggest power in the world today. At the 16th Foundation Day celebrations of Brahmin family in Lucknow, CM Yogi Adityanath said, ‘When we talk about Brahmin, a concept automatically comes in front of everyone, Brahmin means culture, culture and religion. They themselves suffer but they do not allow religion to be harmed.’

‘Votebank politics comparing Sardar Patel to Jinnah’
Yogi said, ‘On one side there is the national hero Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and on the other side there is Jinnah who broke the nation as a villain. If someone starts comparing Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with Jinnah, then it will be vote bank politics, for which politics can be done at the cost of the country. On the birth anniversary of the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Yogi said, ‘This recognition which the country has got, got it because Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave Indian vision to the country. If India had this kind of successful leadership in 1947, then India would have been the world’s most prosperous, big strategic power and economically powerful country.

‘Supporting Jinnah is like supporting Taliban’
Addressing the Vaish community, Yogi targeted the opposition. Yogi said, ‘Opposition does not have issue, they want to insult Sardar Patel. The national hero Sardar Patel is on one side and Jinnah, who broke the nation, is on the other. They support Jinnah and we support Sardar Patel. Those who are supporting Jinnah today are also supporting Taliban in a way. CM Yogi Adityanath, ‘History did not call Ashoka or Chandragupta Maurya great, but Alexander, who was defeated by Chandragupta Maurya as great, how much the country has been betrayed. Historians are silent on all these issues, if the truth will come in the mind of the people of India, then the society and the country will stand.
