According to DMRC, adequate number of women drivers will be appointed to ply these e-rickshaws.
It tweeted, “One more step towards last mile connectivity. DMRC Managing Director Dr Mangu Singh inaugurated a fleet of 25 e-rickshaws in partnership with ETO. These will be operated from 6 am to 11 pm at Noida Electronic City Metro Station and surrounding areas.
In another tweet, DMRC said, “E-rickshaws ensure clean and green connectivity solutions. A growing group of women drivers ensure a safe and healthy work environment for them.
