Dr. Neeta says that due to low platelets in children, there is a need to give platelets again and again. Children with cancer have weak immunity, but having dengue does not mean immunity. Dengue is caused by the bite of a mosquito. It can happen to any normal person also. So far, about 16 children who were also fighting cancer have come under the grip of dengue. Although the children are recovering due to medical efforts.

Dr. Neeta says that at present a 1-year-old child suffering from cancer is undergoing treatment in the hospital, this child is also suffering from dengue. About 16 children with cancer in the age group of 0 to 18 have also been affected by dengue.
