Noida news: 35.64 km longest metro track to be built from Knowledge Park in Greater Noida to Noida International Airport

The longest metro track in Noida will be built between Knowledge Park in Greno and Noida International Airport. Its length will be 35.64 km. Seven stations will be built from Greater Noida to Knowledge Park-2 to Jewar Airport. The airport metro will run at a speed of 120 km per hour.

This track will be made elevated. Along with the airport, preparations are being made to run this metro. DMRC has submitted preliminary report to Yamuna Authority on Tuesday.

Work on connecting Greater Noida with Delhi Railway Station
The Yamuna Authority has given the work of preparing the DPR from Noida Airport to Greater Noida to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Apart from this, it has been asked to prepare a feasibility report for connecting the Airport Metro from Greater Noida to New Delhi Railway Station or Shivaji Stadium.

7 stations to be built on longest track
According to preliminary reports, seven stations will be built on a 35.64 km long track from Knowledge Park-2 in Greater Noida to Jewar Airport. Its speed limit will be up to 120 kilometers per hour. DMRC has also submitted preliminary report for connecting Jewar Airport and IGI with Metro. It has been told that can be connected from Greater Noida to Shivaji or New Delhi railway station.

This route will be about 38 km. DMRC has prepared to give two options for this. First, a new corridor should be built from Greater Noida to Delhi, so that the airport can become a separate track of the metro.

The longest track of Noida-Greno so far
The second track should be built from Greater Noida to Botanical Garden Metro Station in Noida. DMRC has asked to give its full details in the detailed report. Till now the longest track in the district is that of Noida-Greno Metro, which is about 29.7 kms.
