Case filed against Omaxe builder in Greater Noida on court order, allegation of fraud of lakhs of rupees

Manish Singh, Noida: In Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, a case has come to light of Omaxe builder selling a shop worth lakhs of rupees without passing the map in Greater Noida Authority. A young man from Greater Noida has filed a case against the Omaxe builder under serious sections. In this case the victim first gave his complaint to the local police but the victim was not heard. After this, a complaint was sent by sending an application through registered post to Police Commissioner Gautam Budh Nagar, but the victim did not get any justice from here also. At last, the victim approached the court, where on the orders of the court, police station Beta-2 registered a report and started investigation.

Greater Noida’s youth has been cheated of more than Rs 26 lakh. This fraud has been done by Omaxe builder along with his accomplices. In fact, according to the complaint of Deepak Kumar, who lives under Surajpur area of Greno’s police station, a shop was booked in the year 2018 at Omaxe Connaught Place built in Beta-2. While booking the shop, he had given checks of Rs 2.5 lakh to the builder’s associates. The builder had promised them that they would get the possession of the shop within a year.

After that, before handing over the possession of the shop, Rs 21 lakh 83 thousand 843 was handed over through check on the advice of the builder’s colleagues. Apart from this, 1 lakh 94 thousand 493 rupees were taken in the shop in the name of power equipment, lease rent, power backup equipment, maintenance and electricity meter. Including all these, 26 lakh 28 thousand 335 rupees were given to the builder for the shop.

According to Deepak, he used to repeatedly talk to the builder to take possession of the shop, but the builder used to demand time by making false promises. Meanwhile, when he investigated, he came to know that the shop is completely illegal. The Greater Noida Authority has not approved the map of the shop. When we talked to the builder’s colleagues about this, there was no response from their side.

After which, on November 16, 2022, the victim pleaded for justice from Police Station Beta-2 and Noida Police Commissionerate, complaining of fraud against him. But he did not get any help from anywhere. After which, in the end, he reached the shelter of the court, hoping for justice. On the orders of the court, a case has been registered against Omaxe Connaught Place Chairman Rohtash Goyal, Managing Director Mohit Goyal, Director Jatin Goyal, Director Vineet Goyal, Director Gurunam Singh, Director Nishal Jain, Business Head Manish Garg, Sanjay and Pradeep Tyagi. Police has registered a report against the builder under sections 420, 406, 467, 468 and 471.
