Nawab Malik News: Plea against Malik to stop speaking against NCB

Mumbai
On Wednesday, the Bombay High Court refused urgent hearing on a public interest litigation (PIL) filed against state minister Nawab Malik. The plea had sought a direction for not making any comment against NCB in the drugs case involving actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.

Kausar Ali, who filed the PIL on Tuesday, has described himself as a cleric and a person working for rehabilitation of drug addicts. Ali has urged the High Court to direct Malik not to make any comment against the NCB or any other investigative agency connected with the Aryan Khan case and the officials of such agencies.

The counsel for the petitioner, Ashok Saraogi, submitted the petition before Chief Justice Dipankar Dutta and Justice M.S. The PIL was mentioned while requesting an urgent hearing before the bench of Karnik. However, the high court asked Saraogi to approach the vacation bench next week or wait for the regular courts to resume after the Diwali vacations beginning November 1.
