National Anthem Contempt Case: National Anthem Contempt Case; High Court’s refusal to grant any relief to Mamata Banerjee

National Anthem Contempt Case:The Bombay High Court has refused to grant any relief to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the case of contempt of the national anthem. After hearing this in the afternoon, the Shivdi Magistrate Court has directed the Senior Police Inspector of Cuffe Parade Police Station to submit the investigation report by April 28. Therefore, Mamata Banerjee’s problems are likely to increase in this matter.

The Special Court of Bombay Sessions Court has ordered a fresh hearing on the petition demanding registration of a case against Mamata Banerjee. That decision was challenged by Mamata Banerjee in the High Court. A hearing was held before Justice Amit Borkar on Wednesday. In which Majid Memon argued on behalf of Mamata Banerjee.

There is no truth in the petition against Mamata Banerjee. He alleged that the whole case was filed for political reasons only to be defied. Also, Mamata Banerjee had requested the High Court to protect her from this defamatory process. But if the Sessions Court orders a fresh hearing in this case, then no process is going on against them at present, so the High Court clarified that no relief can be given in this case before the decision of the Magistrate Court.
