Mamata Banerjee gets a jolt from Bombay High Court, refuses to dismiss plea for insulting national anthem

Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has rejected Mamta Banerjee’s application accusing her of disrespecting the national anthem. In fact, an application was filed against Mamta in the lower court for insulting the national anthem. After which West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee approached the Bombay High Court in this matter. This matter related to Mamta Banerjee is of the year 2021. In which he was accused of disrespecting the National Anthem.

What is the allegation against CM Mamta?

Mumbai BJP General Secretary Vivekanand Gupta had filed a petition against Mamata Banerjee in the Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court. on this complaint

The complaint claimed that during a program at the Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium, Mamata Banerjee remained seated instead of standing even when the national anthem was played. In the middle, Mamta Banerjee suddenly stood up and after singing two lines suddenly left again.
