Nurse in MP sought death along with her daughter, this reason came to the fore

Gwalior: A nurse posted in the largest government hospital of Gwalior zone has written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan demanding permission for euthanasia along with her daughter. The nurse alleges that she has taken this step after being fed up with the harassment of the Dean of Gajra Raja Medical College and the Superintendent of Jayarogya Hospital.

Wrote letter to CM demanding death

The victim nurse has demanded the Chief Minister to allow euthanasia within 15 days or to remove the said officers. Poonam Sarankar, originally from Indore, is currently posted as a Nursing Officer at Jayarogya Hospital, Gwalior. Poonam has written a letter to the Chief Minister on April 5, seeking permission for euthanasia along with her daughter. Poonam alleges that she has not received her salary for six months. In such a situation, it has become difficult to maintain the family.

Serious allegations against Dean of Medical College

Poonam lives in a rented house in Gwalior with her daughter and parents, while her husband makes a living by doing small business in Indore. Poonam alleges that Dr. RKS Dhakad, Superintendent of Jayarogya Hospital, is not withdrawing her salary and Dr. Akshay Nigam, Dean of Gajra Raja Medical College, has misbehaved with her.

On the other hand, when an attempt was made to know their side from both the officers in this regard, they could not be available.
