The Yogi government has made a big announcement for the people living in the slums. Pucca houses will be given to the people living in the settlements on government and Nazul lands. 1000 will have to be paid for allotment of this house.
CM Yogi Adityanath on Thursday approved the proposal of Uttar Pradesh in-situ slum redevelopment policy-2021 in cabinet by-circulation. On the instructions of the CM, the Urban Development Department had prepared a proposal to build pucca houses for the people living in slums on the lines of Gujarat.
The construction of the house will be done with a private partner
It is being told that for this work, a committee will be formed under the chairmanship of DM in Municipal Corporations and Municipal Councils and DMs. The construction of pucca houses will be done with a private partner.
Community facilities will also be developed
For this, half the land of the total area will be given to the private partner and half of the house will be built in the multi store building. Community facilities will also be developed along with multi-storey buildings. For this a corpus fund of Rs 50,000 will be created.
