Sleep Personality: In this busy life ‘sleep’ is a dream. Sleeping full of eyes is an unfulfilled hope. Even if you get that chance, social media.. OTTs will not let you sleep. Or stress, tensions.. remove burra and disturb sleep. There are many reasons that prevent sleep. In this background, researchers have divided ‘sleep’ into four sleep personalities. 1. Good Sleepers, 2. Weekend Catchup Sleepers, 3. Insomnia Sleepers, 4. Nappers.

Most of us fall into categories 3 and 4. However, researchers say these two are not healthy. People who fall into the category of insomnia sleepers are warned that they will suffer from heart related problems after ten years. It is said that they will suffer from chronic diseases like diabetes, depression and weakness. Those belonging to the category of knappers are also said to be at risk. Category 1 and 2 people who prioritize adequate sleep are less prone to chronic diseases. 

Associate Professor Soomi Lee of the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at The Pennsylvania State University, who authored this study, said.. ‘ ‘Among the four categories divided in our research, it is known that people belonging to the Insomnia sleeper category are at risk of chronic diseases’’ He said. 

What is good sleepers?

Those who sleep seven to nine hours a day are called good sleepers. Those who sleep like this are able to focus properly in their daily tasks. Those who belong to the weekend cap up sleeper category.. sleep for less time. However, that sleep is made up for on weekends. Sleeps most of the time. However, not getting enough sleep during the rest of the day is a problem. However, sleeping in during the weekend gives them some relief. There is no immediate risk of disease.

Insomnia sleepers category people have to face many health problems in future. They are unable to sleep through the night due to insomnia. As a result, they feel tired during the day. Can't do any work. Nappers sleep very differently. They are intoxicated by taking excessive naps during the day. They do not sleep at night due to daytime sleep. This is a pity.. they struggle a lot to sleep.

⦿ It is mandatory to follow sleep hygiene for a comfortable sleep. That is, two hours before sleep, it is mandatory to keep the phones aside and not to use any gadgets such as TV.
⦿ These are small things but they affect sleep. Make sure your sleeping room is completely dark. It is better to wear a mask for the eyes. 
⦿ Dinner should be finished early at night. You cannot sleep when your stomach is full.
⦿ You should sleep at the same time every day. This will get your body used to a sleep cycle.
⦿ Don't look at your phone at night. Read a book instead. Sleeps well.
⦿ Pranayama also helps to sleep well.
