‘Pathan’ beats big films, highest grossing estimate on 5th day

The magic of ‘Pathan’ is speaking with his head held high. The film has received an overwhelming response not only in the country but across the world. The film seems to be setting new records with each passing day. It beat big films like ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘KGF 2’. Now the film seems to be making another new record. On Sunday, a huge crowd of people thronged to the theaters. Looking at the initial trends, it is estimated that it can make the highest collection on the fifth day.

Boycott trend has no effect

A slight decline was seen in the collection of ‘Pathan’ on the third day. Even then, however, it maintained its hold. The way Shahrukh’s film created history, it will not be easy for anyone to break it in the coming days. After the Corona period, ‘Pathan’ has given a lifeline to Bollywood. Also, the film gave a befitting reply to the Boycott trend.

how much will be the collection

As per a report in Koimoi, the early figures suggest that the film may collect more than 70 crores across all languages. If this happens, it will be the second time in 5 days that the film will collect 70 crores. Earlier, ‘Pathan’ had earned 70 crores on Thursday, the second day of its release. The film can collect 65 to 67 crores in the Hindi belt. Overall the film may cross the 70 crore mark. The total business of the film in 5 days can be between 278 to 280 crores.

Pathan far beyond Bahubali 2 and KGF 2

If a film collects so much on the 5th day, it is a record in itself. ‘KGF 2’ collected 50.35 crores on Sunday, the fourth day of its release. While on the fifth day i.e. on Monday, its earnings were reduced to 25.57 crores only. On the other hand, ‘Bahubali 2’ earned 121 crores on the first day in all languages. On the fifth day the film’s collection was reduced to 59 crores.

The film directed by Siddharth Anand has earned 429 crores worldwide in 4 days. On the fourth day the film collected 212 crores in India.
