Not only split in Congress, BJP leader announced new party in Madhya Pradesh; Shock to Shivraj in Vindhya?

Where the news of split in Rajasthan Congress is in headlines, just before the assembly elections, news of political upheaval has also started coming from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party has also suffered a major setback in Madhya Pradesh. A legislator of the ruling party has announced to form a new party. Due to this, the party may have to face some difficulties in the Vindhya region in the assembly elections to be held this year.

BJP MLA Narayan Tripathi from Maihar in Satna has announced to form a new party. He has said that the people of Vindhya will contest elections from their own party. Addressing the workers, the MLA said that by May 15, his party would come into existence. He said, ‘The registration of Vindhya’s party is almost complete. Registration will be done by 15th. People of Vindhya get ready. Make up your mind, prepare. The people of Vindhya will contest elections from their own party. Significantly, Narayan Tripathi has been demanding a separate Vindhya Pradesh for a long time.

Maihar MLA Narayan Tripathi has contested elections on Congress and SP ticket before BJP. Tripathi, a 4-time MLA, is very strong in Vindhya region. Tripathi, who was in the Congress during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, had won the 2016 bypoll on a BJP ticket, after which he won again in 2018 on the Kamal Nishan. Narayan Tripathi is eyeing 30 seats in Vindhya. He will try to win most of the seats here by raising the issue of separate Vindhyas loudly.
