Mamta warns party leaders and workers about corruption, 3.5 lakh people will be surveyed

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has warned leaders and workers about corruption within the party. On Monday, Mamta Banerjee started the party’s biggest campaign to connect with the people. In this program, 3.5 lakh TMC volunteers will reach one million people of Bengal in the next two months. During this, information will be given about 15 special schemes of the state. Let us tell you that ED and CBI have taken action against many big leaders of TMC in the past. These leaders include names like Partha Chatterjee and Anubrata Mandal.

One worm can destroy the whole crop

Mamta Banerjee said that if it is not eradicated in time, then one worm can destroy the entire crop. He said that if someone has done something wrong in the past, then he needs to be alerted and given time. We will ask them to rectify. Mamta said that she herself is not above the party line. Significantly, in the recent past, there have been several allegations of corruption against Mamta Banerjee’s party. The opposition is also attacking TMC regarding this. Apart from this, there have been allegations of irregularities in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. At the same time, some veteran leaders of Mamta’s party have been arrested by central agencies in cases like school recruitment scam and cattle smuggling. These allegations can prove fatal for Mamta’s party before the Panchayat elections.

Panchayat elections important before 2024

Mamta Banerjee said that we have to keep transparency. Panchayats get money directly from the Centre. There is no involvement of the state government in this. So we have to keep an eye on them because we are answerable to the public. Mamta Banerjee was addressing TMC workers after launching a new campaign named ‘Didi Suraksha Kavach’ in Kolkata. This campaign is necessary for TSM before the all-important panchayat elections in a few months. The Panchayat elections here ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are being considered as a litmus test for both BJP and TMC. A TeamAC leader said that 350 state level leaders, including MPs and MLAs, would visit different villages. These people will also stay in the village at night and ask the people whether they are getting the benefits of 15 schemes of the government. Apart from this, these people will also listen to their complaints.

BJP, Congress said attack

At the same time, BJP and Congress have launched a scathing attack on TMC. BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari has said that these people are not Didi’s messengers, but Didi’s ghosts. On the other hand, the Congress has said that just before the elections, Mamta is calling her leaders for door-to-door visits. What were these people doing till now? Congress leader Adhir Chowdhary said that people are fed up with the government. Now Mamta Banerjee is trying to heal people through Didi’s security scheme.
